Retrograde Dance Theatre was co-founded in 2017 by LI Jie, Principal Director of Nanjing Song and Dance Theatre, and LVSi-si, an independent director and choreographer. The Theatre devotes to the development of modern dance in Jiangsu Province, aiming at building a platform for artists and dancers to create and perform. The Theatre regularly organises various kinds of activity, including cultural exchange programs and training courses. The Theatre has reached a long-term strategic consensus with Nanjing Song and Dance Theatre.
