The Modern Dance Group of the Tang Dynasty Body Theater is the first and only modern dance company in Shaanxi. Based in Xi’an which was the capital of 13 dynasties, the Company strives to reproduce the inclusiveness of the Tang dynasty, excavating the heritages of ancient artistic expressions embedded in modern aesthetics. The Tang Dynasty Body Theater actively promotes the development and concept of modern dance, and had successfully held various workshops, in-campus modern dance activities and the Young Artists’ Arts Festival.
