China Dance Stations is a non-hierarchical network that links up independent organizations that are active in contemporary dance activities in different cities in China. Initiated in 2017, China Dance Stations has attracted 43 cities to join until now and the network is expected to grow even further.  Located in different cities facing different environment and coming from different backgrounds, the non-governmental Stations are active in various areas of contemporary dance, including creation, education, presentation, and production. The Stations aims to provide a platform for effective sharing of information of dance, consolidating resources and creating better synergy for exchange and collaboration. On the other hand, China Dance Stations provides links for international counterparts to map out an overview of the huge dance geography in China.
